"One person can make a huge difference.
All you have to do is ignite the flame."
-- Rita Adair
This is a film about grassroots organizing to provide housing and other support for Hurricane Katrina evacuees who chose to relocate to the Allied Drive neighborhood of Madison, Wisconsin in 2005. It is a celebration of what spontaneous efforts can accomplish in a very short period of time, but organizers, volunteers, and other neighborhood residents also talk about the ongoing struggles related to poverty in the neighborhood. The film points towards possibilities for positive change, as participants talk about their concerns and hopes for the future.
